She had blonde hair that danced on her shoulders, her skin looked lightly bronzed, flawless. She was about 5′9 and dressed as if she had a personal designer. Her teeth were white and her nails were perfectly manicured.
But the only topic of conversation she knew was about herself. She often became jealous when the attention wasn’t on her. Upon walking into a room she expected heads to turn. She got anything she wanted.
And she always wanted.

His hair carried an elegantly dishevelled look, his skin was slightly weathered with a rugged, outdoorsy feel. He was about 6′2 and always dressed to perfection. His teeth were white and he never carried dirt under his nails.
But the only topic of conversation that interested him was himself. He often became jealous when attention wasn’t on him. Upon walking into a room he expected heads to turn. He got anything he wanted.
And he always wanted.

They were a couple. Both had brown hair, hers was wavy and frizzy and his was already thinning. Their skin was freckled and scarred with sunspots. She was 5′2 and he was 5′11. They dressed as if it was a fleeting thought. Their teeth were slightly crooked and showed their love for coffee. Their hands were weathered and calloused.
The topic of conversation held in their home was of the people they had met that day and how blessed they are. They didn’t wish for attention for all the gifts they gave. Upon walking into a room they sent their energy towards the isolated people. They gave everything they wanted.
And they always wanted.
Beauty is not a glance in the mirror or a picture but a progression of life.

Thanks, Kevin, for all your kind words. I’ll be putting more up as soon as time allows.
