Despite the rest of the country’s lurch to the Left in this year’s election, the Tennessee General Assembly has moved decidedly to the Right, rewarding Republicans with the majority in both houses since the years immediately following the Civil War. More here.

Republicans Fail at ACORN-like Strategy

Here’s a big yawner of a non-story at the LA Times — clearly pushing back against the reports of actual fraud perpetrated by ACORN — in which no one seems to realize that party registration doesn’t require voting for a particular candidate. They received Welcome to the GOP! letters in the mail as a result and have plenty of time to change it before the next primary. Dishonest? Quite. A waste of time on the part of the local GOP? Very much so. Something that will change the outcome of the upcoming election? Not a chance. Now, let’s get back to the real story of voter fraud.
